Founded in 2016 by James Filby-Browne

JR Engineering Group was founded in 2016 by James Filby-Browne with a clear goal: to raise the bar for coordinated building services design in Australia.

From a Central Coast NSW base, we've grown into a trusted consultancy working across residential, commercial, Industrial, hospitality, mixed-use, government and healthcare developments nationwide.

What started as a one-man specialist practice now covers five engineering disciplines — hydraulic, stormwater, fire protection, electrical and mechanical — under one coordinated roof.

Because we deliver multiple disciplines in-house, coordination happens early and happens properly. Clashes and conflicts get resolved in design, not discovered in construction.

Our team has spent time on site. We know how systems actually get installed, commissioned and maintained — and that insight shapes every drawing we issue.
